Customer Service Practitioner

Rotherham – New York Way

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

Salary up to £11.44 an hour depending on age.

As a Mears Apprentice you will be paid above the national minimum wage and be paid for your normal working hours plus time to do your college work with the opportunity to get real life experiences such as working in people’s homes, getting involved in community projects and improving people’s lives by being customer focused. The apprenticeship will take around 16 months to complete and result in gaining your NVQ level 2 in customer service.

About the role:

As a Customer Service Practitioner, you will be developing within the role guided by your mentor. The role will be based within our customer service team working from our branch in Rotherham and will be working along side the operational team supporting our tenants and service users. You will be involved in a wide range of activities including data analysis, using this information to support both complaints and compliments from the client, tenants, and residents. Attending meetings and site visits and arranging social value events with local schools and community groups.

Key Criteria:

  • GCSEs minimum grade 4 in Maths and English.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel, outlook, Word etc.
