Pyramid Plus is a dynamic joint venture between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, compliance, planned replacements, and fire risk assessment works. Serving over 23,500 homes, we complete more than 38,000 repairs, 1,000 void refurbishments, and install 600 kitchens and bathrooms each year. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth. This role offers the opportunity to be a key member of the senior management team, driving the successful delivery of our planning and customer service functions at the heart of our operations.

About the Role:

This is a practical, hands‑on position where no two days look the same. You’ll be part of a small, supportive team that keeps our vehicles moving and our sites running smoothly. The role combines driving, basic vehicle care, and general site support, with some office admin to help keep everything organised behind the scenes.

You’ll spend most of your time out on site or on the move, but you’ll also help with supporting the team with day‑to‑day office duties when needed. It’s a great fit for someone who’s comfortable switching between physical work and basic admin, and who takes pride in keeping things running efficiently.

You’ll have plenty of independence, so we’re looking for someone who’s confident managing their own workload, spotting what needs doing, and stepping in without being asked. If you enjoy variety, like staying active, and prefer a role where you’re trusted to get on with things, you’ll feel right at home.

No previous experience is required - we’ll provide full training. What matters most is reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills across both practical and administrative tasks.

Day to day Duties

  • Collecting vehicles and ensuring they are cleaned and ready for use
  • Moving vehicles safely between sites or designated areas
  • Driving vans confidently and safely as part of daily duties
  • Ensuring vehicles meet required standards, reporting any problems promptly, and helping to resolve them where possible
  • Assisting with admin duties, including logging vehicle movements and completing forms and related tasks
  • Handling waste disposal safely, including loading materials into a skip correctly
  • Carrying out general support tasks as needed - someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it

Role Criteria:

  • Manual driving licence
  • Basic understanding of safe vehicle handling
  • Driving vans confidently and safely as part of daily duties
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle waste safely
  • Good communication and basic IT skills
  • Basic admin experience (logging, using PC, tablet or phone)
  • Willingness to learn and follow procedures
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Enjoys working and being part of a team
  • Comfortable working independently when needed

Nice to Have (but not required)

  • Experience working with vehicles, cleaning, or valeting
  • Experience in a warehouse, yard, or labour‑based environment
  • Knowledge of vehicle checks (fluids, tyres, cleanliness standards)
  • Experience of hands-on practical or physical work

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
