We provide a tailored rapid-response and planned housing maintenance services to meet the needs of our client Exeter City Council. By focusing on what matters most to them, we deliver an exceptional service while helping to invest in the community within the of City of Exeter.
About the Role:
The role is primarily for our planned works team, where you will be part of a team delivering high quality kitchens and bathrooms exclusively for our client Exeter City Council's tenants. Also, as part of our close knit electrical team, you may at times be asked for support with reactive repairs and maintenance across ECC’s portfolio of properties, working from ‘job’ to ‘job’, on a planned route with a wide range of general repairs and maintenance task. Previous experience will be a benefit and you will need to be self motivated (but with our full support) to excel in this role. An empathetic nature, with a desire to improve people homes and living conditions, along with delivering high standards of work and service are key attributes for the role.
Key Criteria:
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
