Painter & Decorator

Eastbourne/Lewes

Full Time, Permanent 42.5 Hours per week

£28,917.00+ Company Van and Fuel Card

About the role

As a painter and decorator for our Eastbourne branch, you will be responsible for working within our void properties. This includes laying down protective sheets throughout the property, filling any holes or cracks, and sanding surfaces to ensure they are smooth and ready for painting. You will then apply two coats of paint throughout the property, ensuring even coverage and clean edges to maintain a high standard finish. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help keep our properties looking their best.

Key Criteria;

  • UK full driving licence
  • Manual handling and ability to work at heights.
  • Previous experience within painting and decorating

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.

Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
