Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? Do you thrive in a role where no two days are the same? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Mears Housing Management is seeking dedicated and compassionate Resident Welfare Officers to help vulnerable individuals avoid homelessness and move into settled accommodation.
As a Resident Welfare Officer, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on, pastoral, floating support to service users. Your mission will be to support them in managing and sustaining their interim accommodation while helping them navigate their pathway to a stable home.
About the Role
The Resident Welfare Officer role involves a mix of administrative, practical, and supportive tasks, primarily focused on helping service users with their housing and well-being needs. This position is very service-oriented, requiring strong organisation and communication skills. You’ll need the ability to balance administrative tasks with hands-on support.
This position is a fieldbased role, it does come with a Company Car to cover the required patch. Holding a full UK driving license is a requirement for this position.
