We’re now looking for a SHEQ Administrator to join our team in North Lanarkshire, supporting our local Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s ready to take their next career step and progress into the compliance industry. You’ll gain valuable experience, work alongside industry professionals, and play an important part in promoting a safe and healthy working environment for all.

Key Responsibilities and Criteria

  • Ensure our operations run smoothly and safely.

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Branch SHEQ Manager and wider SHEQ Group.

  • Assist with Health & Safety reports, data analysis, and training materials.

  • Help to plan and deliver Mears’ health and wellbeing programmes across the branch.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including Healthy Working Lives and Occupational Health Providers.

  • Support and promote Mears’ Health at Work campaigns and wellbeing initiatives.

  • Attend conferences, workshops, and training to develop your professional knowledge.

  • You must be organised and reliable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • IT confident, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and general digital systems.

  • A great communicator, both written and verbal, who enjoys working with people at all levels.

  • Motivated to learn and progress in a compliance, health, and safety environment.

  • A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to Mears’ values.

Previous administration experience is essential, and experience within compliance, health & safety, or partnership working would be an advantage.

Benefits we can offer you:
