  • Inspection of the equipment
  • Allocate operatives, subcontractors, and resources effectively to meet repairs KPIs and contractual targets
  • Plan and manage repairs workloads to minimise disruption to residents
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures across all repairs activity
  • Complete post‑inspection quality checks and ensure remedial actions are closed out
  • Lead, support, and performance‑manage repairs operatives, providing day‑to‑day supervision and coaching
  • Identify skills gaps and support training and development within the repairs team
  • Apply HR policies relating to attendance, conduct, and performance management
  • Manage repairs assets including vans, tools, PPE, and van stock
  • Monitor materials usage and order supplies to support cost‑effective repairs delivery
  • Use repairs systems and reports to track performance, productivity, and job completion
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, resolving repairs issues professionally and promptly
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate repairs delivery
  • Support contract mobilisation, audits, and continuous improvement within repairs services
  • Assist with cost control, forecasting, and identifying efficiencies within repairs operations
  • Provide supervisory cover during absences or peak repairs demand
  • Attend toolbox talks, repairs briefings, training, and company meetings
  • Ensure all repairs activities reflect company values and a professional service at all times

Role Criteria:

  • Experience in a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role within housing or repairs
  • Experience in managing Health & Safety and compliance within repairs operations
  • Relevant City & Guilds (or equivalent) trade qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to lead, supervise, and develop repairs teams
