Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) provides a full range of in-patient and out-patient mental health services across Kent & Medway operating across numerous sites it includes services for older adults, forensic & specialist services, and acute services. The Trust has a diverse property portfolio of around 68 sites with an approximate total GIA of. 70,000sq. m spread across Kent and Medway, which provide 24-7 365-day patient services.   

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) employs around 5700 staff made up of community nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians, podiatrists, dental staff, and many other health care professionals and corporate services. The Trust is one of the largest community health providers in England, serving a population of approximately 1.4 million people across Kent, East Sussex, and parts of London Boroughs. This Trust has 33 sites included in the contract.

About the Role:

As an Electrician within our Aylesford branch you will be working across NHS and mental health buildings. The main role will be completing PPM (planned preventative maintenance and minor repairs and small project installs where needed. To carry out a range of electrical work to our clients facilities to ensure that electrical Installations which are worked on are safe for continued use, to safeguard service users, members of the public, clients personnel and Mears employees from any potential danger associated with electricity.
 

Role Criteria:

• Minimum NVQ level 3
• City and Guilds 18th Edition
• Inspection and Testing qualification 2391/2 or 2394/2395
• Full UK driving license
• Flexible and willing to travel
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work alone
