Quality Coordinator
Basingstoke-Office Based

Salary up to £35,000 PA, DOE

Are you experienced in quality management and passionate about driving improvement? Mears Basingstoke is looking for a Quality Coordinator to support the delivery and enhancement of our services on the RLAP contract.

This is a key role working alongside our QHSE Manager to ensure compliance, maintain high standards and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.

About Us:

Mears provides vital accommodation services to essential British Government workers. We manage everything from sourcing properties to maintenance, compliance and resident support. Our work matters – and so does the quality of everything we do.

About the Role:

As Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our quality management systems (QMS) across the RLAP contract. Your work will help ensure full compliance with ISO standards, internal policies, and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support departments with quality planning and guidance
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, conducting audits and reporting on standards
  • Monitor and inspect services, identify risks and non-compliances, and promote improvement
  • Maintain records, registers, business continuity plans, and risk logs
  • Support GDPR and ISO 27001 compliance (including personnel clearances and data handling)
  • Manage physical site security (alarms, access, ID badges, H&S)
  • Deliver quality and regulatory training, including induction and refreshers
  • Monitor quality-related inboxes, complete project tasks, and assist wider teams
  • Support our commitment to excellence, continuous improvement and safe service delivery

Role Criteria:

  • Strong understanding of the principles and implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and the ability to communicate the same to teams
  • Experience with writing internal reports and the implementation of continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • IT Literate-Proven experience with using all Microsoft Packages
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
