We provide the repairs and maintenance service in approx. 4,500 Dover District Council properties, Services provided: Responsive repairs, Voids, Disabled adaptations, External and major work and Kitchens and bathroom refurbishments.
About the Role:
As a Roofers Mate you will be working alongside Dover District Council providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.
In this role, you will be supporting the roofer with day-to-day tasks, including work involving slates, tiles, and flat roofing. You will be required to work at height, using ladders and scaffolding as part of your duties. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to gain practical experience across a range of roofing activities, contributing to the completion of various projects while ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.
Key Criteria:
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
