Asset Data and Insight Manager

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Hours: 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

You will be working with the Mears operational and commercial teams and our client Milton Keynes City Council to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities by gathering and analysing data from a variety of sources, including as internal systems, external tools, and market research. Collecting, analysing, and interpreting data from various sources to provide valuable insights and recommendations in relation to the maintenance of the councils Housing Revenue Account portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the management team to advise and support delivery of local programmes and ensure continuous improvement based on evidence-led decision-making and recommendations
  • Identify and collect relevant data from various sources, including internal systems, third-party tools, and market research in respect of service delivery performance, productivity, customer satisfaction and value for money
  • Advise management on gaps in key data and make recommendations to improve the record-keeping or access to enable more informed decision making
  • Undertake data analysts to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to meet and exceed operational objectives including commercial and operational excellence
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis, helping them make informed decisions and drive business growth
  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualisations
  • Produce contractual KPI/performance reports for external and internal stakeholders, as required

  • Asset management and/or related property area
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Managing complex projects and initiatives
  • Leading and/or delivering outstanding customer focused services
  • Working with internal and external partners to deliver projects and initiatives
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to analyse complex data from multiple sources and make clear evidence-based recommendations
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Power BI or similar)
  • Proficiency in data modelling and data manipulation.
  • Working knowledge of property related issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with, and influence, diverse teams and present findings to senior leadership
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks
