Full Time, Permanent role 42.5 hours per week; shift work 4 on 4 off 08:00 – 20:00.

About the Role:
Due to contract expansion, we are looking for an Electrician to join our team, this will be shift work, working 4 on then 4 off 8:00 – 20:00.
You will be required to visit tenanted properties from calls raised and fix the jobs that have been requested. This could be anything from light switches, fixing a fan, fixing a shower, trip switches and some partial re-wires.
This will be a mix of on-site inspections and office-based work to complete paperwork and sign off.
You must have experience of installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of IET Wiring Regulations and knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and can fill in the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report.
Key Criteria:
It would be advantageous to have worked in domestic and or social housing previously.
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
