With 30 years of delivering market-leading repairs, refurbishment, fire safety and building maintenance services, Mears is trusted to deliver in excess of 6,000 housing repairs daily to a portfolio of more than 1,000,000 homes nationwide.
About the role:
As a specialist in installing adapted bathrooms for customers with individual requirements you will be responsible for all trade work except electrics and gas. We also have a position available to work in our voids contract.
Commonly the work will be adapting bathrooms, installing wet rooms and shower over baths, sometimes redesigning the bathroom, removing walls etc to allow installation, the voids role will be carrying out multi skilled works predominantly joinery to empty properties to bring back up to a lettable standard ready to be re-let.
Works are undertaken in both council and private properties and must be delivered to a high standard in a reasonable timescale in line with the customers needs, making a significant difference in the lives of those who need these adaptations.
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
