With 30 years of delivering market-leading repairs, refurbishment, fire safety and building maintenance services, Mears is trusted to deliver in excess of 6,000 housing repairs daily to a portfolio of more than 1,000,000 homes nationwide.
About the role:
We are seeking experienced Multi Skilled Operatives to join our void team. Having successfully retained our contract for another potentially 12 years, we are building a strong in-house team to fulfill our commitment to self-delivery for our client, Medway Council. Working primarily in empty properties, candidates must possess a good all-round knowledge of domestic building maintenance, including at least three of the following skills: plumbing, carpentry, wall and floor tiling, vinyl and Polysafe flooring, painting and decorating, plastering, UPVC windows, and new kitchen and bathroom installations.
All work is based in Gillingham, so no long journeys are required. We provide a company van, fuel card, uniform, PDA, and full PPE.

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
