About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced electrician with good knowledge of testing, rewires and CU upgrades to work on our Capital Works and Void properties. All of the work is within a 15-minute distance form our office in Gillingham. Out of hours rota and potential overtime available
Carrying out a range of electrical work to our clients housing stock to ensure that electrical Installations which are worked on are safe for continued use to safeguard the service users, members of the public, clients personnel and Mears employees from any potential danger associated with electricity.
Additionally, you will carry out inspection and testing of all electrical work, maintain accurate records, and seek authorisation for any deviations from the work order. The role also involves managing stock, attending meetings and training sessions to stay updated on business and job knowledge, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Criteria:
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
